Yes. Browsing guides, reading reviews, checking conditions, and using the app toolkit are all free for anglers, always. You only pay the guide for the trip you book.

No. The full directory works in any browser. The free app adds the toolkit (catch ID, water levels, conditions, and tracking that keeps recording with no signal) when you want it on the water.

We seed listings from public data, so many guides are already here. Guides can claim their listing (or add a new one if it isn’t here) free, then subscribe for a booking-ready website, an operator cockpit, and a branded in-app experience.

Partly, and we would rather be straight about which parts. GPS tracking and waypoints keep recording with no bars at all, and everything you log syncs when you return to coverage. Map tiles you have already loaded stay on screen, but there is no download-this-area button yet, so water you have never opened will not draw. Downloadable maps are on the way.
